About this role

River Rock Casino Resort is currently looking for a Team Lead in the F&B Department. Under the supervision of the Manager, F & B Outlet or the Shift Manager F&B Outlet this position is responsible for coordinating day- to-day activities of Food and Beverage Operation(s) on a shift basis while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures. 

Duties and responsibilities for our next F&B Lead will include:

  • Monitors outlet(s) operations on a shift basis and reports issues to F&B management 
  • Performs a server, host/hostess role in a lead capacity 
  • Completes shift reports at the end of each shift 
  • Assists with month end inventories 
  • Works on special initiatives as delegated by F & B management 
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments 
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees) 
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year food and beverage experience with Supervisory experience being an asset 
  • Starbucks experience is required
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Experience in POS system
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time 
  • Ability to obtain criminal background check
  • Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
  • Willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
  • Passion for providing Great Experiences and Memories to our internal and external guests in the continual quest of achieving service excellence
