Grand Canyon University is seeking a Taco Cart Cashier to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU's Food Services department.
Purpose within the Organization:
The purpose of this position is to assist the Taco Cart on campus by working as a Food Service Worker.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
Provides attentive and responsive customer service.
May include operating a cash register and following all cash handling procedures as required.
Will be responsible for serving customers on the line.
Maintains required stock of products and may participate in ordering, inventory, and stocking activities.
Cleans and sanitizes workstations other equipment.
Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes.
Prior customer service and/or food service experience is a plus.
Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
Maintains a positive attitude.
Must be able to work weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy.
Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2026
