About the role
Our client is a French telecom integrator (licensed alternative operator) that connects businesses and secures their B2B data exchanges and multi-site connectivity. You’ll join the EDI/VAN team to help operate and modernize a value-added platform used by hundreds of customers—bringing reliability, better user experience, and new AI capabilities. The environment is collaborative, client-facing, and includes structured training on the tools and standards you’ll use.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the EDI/VAN platform to keep services reliable and performant.
- Triage and resolve incidents from supervision alerts or customer reports; communicate updates clearly.
- Onboard new customers and partner links: gather needs, configure connections, and validate end-to-end data flows.
- Implement and test routing/mapping changes and document configurations and procedures.
- Contribute to integrating AI features into internal and customer-facing tools.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to plan changes and prevent regressions.
- Drive continuous improvement by automating routine tasks and refining runbooks.
- Join a rotating, light on-call (SMS alerts outside office hours) to ensure continuity of service.
Interview process:
- Three interviews are planned with: The line manager (test) - The HR director - The manager
- BAC+2 in IT (or equivalent practical experience; strong self-taught profiles welcome).
- Hands-on exposure to operating/supporting business-critical systems or B2B integrations (projects/internships count).
- Willingness to join a rotating, light on-call (SMS alerts outside office hours).
- Real and working knowledge of the main EDI messages, at least in EDIFACT syntax,
- Proficiency in Linux and Shell,
- Good written and spoken English; no bilingual requirement.
- Skills and interest in development, regardless of the language. Knowledge of PHP is required.
- A significant technical background (Linux, Bash, crypto, network, systems)
- Responsive, curious, perseverant, and able to manage stress.
Nice to have
- Experience with VAN/EDI tools and standards (EDIFACT, XML, ANSI X12).
- Knowledge of APIs/webhooks, message queues, or integration middleware.
- Exposure to AI/ML features in products (e.g., automations, assistants) and curiosity to learn more.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices (incident/change) and basic SQL/log analysis.
