Commercial Strategy & Operations team works with stakeholders across all departments to drive strategic plans for business growth, across Deliveries, E-commerce (GrabMart and Jaya Grocer) and Grab Financial. We turn insights into outcomes by identifying growth opportunities, designing practical strategies for demand generation, and leading end‑to‑end execution that scales.
Get to Know the Role
This role requires you to develop an understanding of our E-commerce business and partner with Grabbers across Category Management, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to drive campaign planning, lead forecasting models, and track commercial performance. The goal is to ensure we continue to build a sustainable, scalable, and profitable E-commerce operations.
You will report to the Demand Planning Lead and will be working onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
1) Demand Planning & Commercial Growth: Own the demand signal and drive category growth in partnership with category managers and marketing. This includes:
3) Performance Analysis and Budget management : Own commercial tracking of the business against the budget. Lead root cause analysis for performance variances, including campaign effectiveness to grow demand, forecasting logic accuracy for stock availability, category margin performance and accordingly make recommendations to leadership for improvements.
