The Vital Statistics unit is responsible for registration and maintenance of vital events for the Province of Alberta, including births, adoptions, surrogacies, death, stillbirths, marriages and legal change of name, as well as, partnering with other Canadian jurisdictions and the federal government to share vital statistics information. The unit provides expertise and direction to internal and external stakeholders as well as the public.

You will be reporting to the Vital Statistics Supervisor and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of a Vital Statistics Specialist.

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (8:15 am-4:30 pm).
