About this role

Essential Job Duties:

(These statements are intended to describe the essential functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job. They are not intended as an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.)

  1. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the work flow of Environmental Services personnel. In order to meet JC and State Board of Health guideline.
  2. Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the hospital for deficiencies and submits Requisitions For Repairs to Engineering.
  3. Communicates daily with Manager and Director of Environmental Services.
  4. Responsible for the Quality Improvement Inspection Program utilized in Environmental Services. In order to achieve World Class Patient Satisfaction in Cleanliness.
  5. Contributes to a high performance work environment by attending meetings and training sessions as Scheduled.
  6. Works to maintain a safe work environment for patients, visitors and staff.
  7. Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:

  1. Instructs and trains employees in the correct use of cleaning supplies, methods of cleaning, and correct usage of equipment.
  2. Controls issuance of cleaning supplies.
