Summary:
We are looking for passionate, good humored, energetic people to join our 2026 team! We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to support the day-to-day cleanliness of our golf club and ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone who visits.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize clubhouse areas including lobby, washrooms, locker rooms, offices, and staff areas
- Maintain cleanliness of food & beverage areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Empty garbage and recycling, and ensure proper waste disposal
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas regularly
- Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizers
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and WHMIS guidelines
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff
Qualifications:
- Cleaning or janitorial experience an asset (training provided)
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Knowledge of health, safety, and WHMIS standards
- Time management skills
- Able to work flexible shifts
Working Conditions:
- Bending, balance, lifting (up to 30lbs), extended period of standing
Reason for Vacancy:
- Seasonal position dependent on the weather and golf season
