Summary:

The Senior Solution Manager to provide subject matter expertise (SME) and leadership in the management, support, and continuous improvement of the company’s Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) platform. This role will oversee daily support operations, manage projects, and guide new functional implementations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across subsidiaries. The Manager will also supervise a small team of EBS staff and serve as a primary escalation point for complex contracts and program matters.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

 

Planning, Project and Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with subsidiary and service center leaders to understand organizational goals and translate them into solution capabilities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale business solution projects
  • Build relationships with subsidiary and service center stakeholders, ensuring adoption of long-term success
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design workshops, and roadmap planning

Process and Performance Optimization

  • Analyze existing capabilities within the solutions to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities to optimize process, reduce cost, centralize functionality, and improve productivity through our solutions
  • Support development and lead the maintenance of an EBS service portfolio, creating KPIs and performance metrics to measure impact of services and solutions
  • Lead monthly Financial and Programmatic audits, serve as escalation point for issues, and close corrective actions

Technology Alignment and Solution Development 

  • Evaluate new tools, platforms, and technologies to recommend solutions that align with business objectives
  • Support the development and lead the testing and implementation of new EBS feature-sets
  • Support the implementation of AI capabilities and digital modernization

EBS Support and SME

  • Serve as a SME for subsidiary program initiatives, contract administration, ISO standards, and CMMI appraisals
  • Serve as a SME on contract and program data, providing guidance on complex CLIN, contract, invoice, and funding questions and serving as the escalation point for EBS staff
  • Develop, maintain, and provide training to educate and improve program manager performance within our solutions
  • Review WinCenter (WC), Contract Management (CM), and Program Management (PM) data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure solutions delivered through EBS are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business requirements
  • Collaborate with the Director of Enterprise Business Solutions to develop strategies that enhance enterprise systems and processes
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the EBS team

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong technical expertise, to include system administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, developing solutions, architectures, and workflows for new or existing systems
  • Strong government contracting expertise, to include contracting requirements, administration, and compliance, complex CLIN structures, invoice/payment terms, deliverable/risk management, and customer delivery
  • Strong project management expertise, to include managing large-scale, complex projects throughout their lifecycle
  • Strong business acumen and auditing expertise, to include aligning technical solutions with business objectives, understanding cost and customer experience implications, and reviewing large datasets, identifying issues and trends
  • Strong problem solving and incident management experience to include prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, and using problem management to identify root cause and implement corrective action
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to include the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates. Also, the ability to communicate both complex technical and contractual requirements clearly to all audiences
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) with strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract management, program data analysis, or enterprise system support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
  • Previous government contracting experience

 

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $148,000.00 to $187,000.00 annually.
