Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients through a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This includes patient care management, communication, and maintaining an organized care environment.
Essential Functions
- Prepare patients for exams, verify information, and record medical history.
- Take and record vital signs; escalate critical cases to the Provider.
- Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG).
- Administer medications and treatments under Provider supervision.
- Perform immunizations, nebulizer treatments, TB tests, and visual acuity screenings.
- Maintain and stock exam rooms, front desk, and reception areas.
- Manage medical records and scan documents to patient files.
- Answer phone calls and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
- Conduct patient follow-up calls and maintain reception area.
- Perform opening/closing duties, including cash handling and securing the building.
- Complete daily equipment checks and submit repair tickets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic nursing duties and clinical judgment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to treat all individuals with fairness, respect, and cultural sensitivity

Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program (required)
- 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
- Licensed to practice as an LPN in the state (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
