About this role
The Quality Assurance Manager plays a critical role in quality processes throughout GMF Steel Group. This person is responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with AISC certification standards. Through collaboration with the Plant Manager and production team, this person will identify, communicate, and execute quality requirements and special considerations in each job plan.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all Quality Control personnel
- Resolve & prevent quality challenges
- Review project specifications and create project specific quality plans
- Monitor quality performance and trends (overall and by individual)
- Ensure compliance to all applicable requirements (GMF standards, Certification Programs, Project requirements)
Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree a plus but not required
- Must have experience with Microsoft Suite, full computer literacy
- Must be available to work additional work hours after 4:30pm, nights, and weekends with possible overtime, where work may be performed at night and on weekends
Salary:
- Dependent upon experience
