YOUR MISSION


At Glovo, we are looking for a Tax Director to drive tax on a global scale. Reporting to the Global Finance Director, you will take ownership of tax compliance, risk management and tax optimization across all markets. As a key leader, you’ll work closely with teams and stakeholders to ensure Glovo is both compliant and strategically positioned to thrive in a dynamic and international environment.

THE JOURNEY



  • Ensure tax structure and strategy is aligned with company objectives and long term plans.

  • Anticipate global tax developments to facilitate decision-making by assessing tax implications and proactively adjust Glovo’s companies tax position.

  • Ensure full compliance with all local tax filing and payment requirements across jurisdictions.

  • Strengthen a global tax governance framework, improving risk management, internal controls and policy alignment.

  • Oversee and manage tax accounting and reporting, ensuring high-quality and timely outputs to Delivery Hero.

  • Improve transparency of tax results through robust forecasting and KPIs.

  • Modernize tax processes through automation and technology, increasing accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Actively partner across the organisation to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors and tax authorities.

  • Set and review team goals and targets for achieving operational results.

  • Lead and develop a team of 8 people.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE



  • 14+ years of proven experience in international tax, combining in-house leadership roles with top-tier Law firm or Big4 exposure.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead global or multi-jurisdictional tax functions in fast-paced, high-growth and digital business environments.

  • Proven track record to identify, analyse and address complex domestic and cross-border tax matters.

  • Deep expertise in direct and indirect taxes, international taxation, transfer pricing, tax accounting and compliance frameworks.

  • Ability to think strategically while also executing.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay organised and prioritise.

  • Strong team mentoring and leadership skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • English full professional proficiency. Other languages are a plus.
