TEAM UP WITH US!


The Repair Technician is responsible for tear down and rebuild of a variety of valves and packing cases to meet OEM Standards.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

· Tear down and inspect a variety of valves and packing cases.

· Be able to read dial calipers.

· Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

· Basic hand tool knowledge.

· Able to stand and operate a sand blaster.

· Basic machining knowledge.

· Basic shop maintenance and clean up.

· Other duties may be assigned.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

· Minimum 3 years of mechanical shop/field experience.

· Observes safety procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

· Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization.

· Knowledge of MS Office and the ability to operate a Windows-based computer.

· Pro-active, problem-solving individual who is able to manage a varied workload with constantly changing priorities.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

· Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
