The Opportunity:
- Assisting with the coordination of comprehensive activity events to meet the leisure and recreation needs of our residents
- Assisting with transporting residents to and from activity programs
- Initiates, creates and publicizes special events and field trips on the monthly Activities calendar
- Maintains high visibility during activities; assumes a proactive role in resolving resident issues and concerns related to activity programs
- Other duties as assigned
Rate of Pay:
$18.00/hr. based on experience
Your Skills:
- Six months experience in a social/recreational program within the last five years
- Experience working with the elderly and dementia population preferred
- Lift and carry up to 25lbs.
- Ability to pass background checks required by a licensed residential care facility
