Supply Chain & Manufacturing Data Product Owner
Location – Kilkenny / Dublin
Reports to – Data, AI and Analytics Director

The Opportunity
The Data Product Owner is responsible for defining and managing the Data Product vision, strategy, and end-to-end delivery, collaborating with relevant IT and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment to business strategic objectives. They are responsible for translating strategic and operational business objectives into technical Data Product solutions, having in-depth knowledge of business processes that underpin the Technology Value Stream. They lead the Data Product team to design and develop new Data Products, enabling the Business to successfully embed these Products into business processes. They remain abreast of emerging technologies relevant to their Technology Value Stream, driving innovation and optimisation in solution creation.

Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of Data Products from requirements gathering to backlog prioritisation and delivery, ensuring alignment with Business priorities. |

Requirement Translation and Documentation |
Collaborates with key Business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, understanding which data capabilities are required for the requested Data Product creation. |

Data Visualisation & Business Intelligence |
Understands BI tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau) to guide the development of data products that drive business decision-making. |

Emerging Technology & Innovation Scouting |
Conducts horizon scanning for new technologies (e.g., GenAI, real-time analytics, data mesh) to enhance Data Product capabilities. |

Automation & Self-Service Analytics Enablement |
Encourages automation and self-service analytics capabilities to empower Business users with real-time data insights, while reducing IT dependencies. |

Portfolio & Capacity Planning |
Collaborates with the IT Portfolio function and other relevant IT stakeholders to align Data Product resources with IT project priorities and capacity constraints. |
