The Opportunity
This position is part of the Glanbia Nutritionals Operations Finance team for the Dairy division, based in the Richfield manufacturing plant office. Our team is responsible for operational performance reporting, cost reporting, and planning and analysis for manufacturing plants in Idaho. This role offers regular opportunities to collaborate with multiple departments within the Richfield and Gooding facilities and across other manufacturing sites across the US.
Essential Functions
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost and usage analysis for various areas, energy, chemicals, ingredients and packaging, as assigned.
- Monitors and maintains key performance indicators for the whey and cheese departments, tracking trends and providing detailed insights.
- Prepares budget and forecast analysis and reports, delivering clear insights to management.
- Assists with plant inventory control for raw material, ingredients, packaging and finished goods, as assigned.
- Assist with standardization of reporting and analysis across manufacturing locations.
- Review work and test for reasonableness; identify questionable results and investigate root cause.
- Support analysis of data as well as development/refinement of financial models related to continuous improvement initiatives and internal growth.
- Cross-train with other analysts, collaborate and share learnings across the team.
- Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis and trending as required.
- Participates in special projects or action teams.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years related experience. CPA, CMA or equivalent experience preferred
- Track record of achievement in driving performance and change
- Ability to motivate and influence a diverse group of people
- High degree of personal, commercial and professional credibility
- Driven, energetic results oriented individual with the ability to thrive under pressurized conditions
