For the Defense Engineering & Technology organization in The Netherlands, we are looking for a Survivability Analysis Engineer. The Survivability Analysis Engineer plays a pivotal role in the Development, Engineering and Testing of structural, ballistic protection solutions for several platforms. You will be part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary project team within Fokker.
We are looking for a capable and flexible Survivability Analysis Engineer for the Product Engineering Department to help develop lightweight composite structures with integrated, structural ballistic protection and inherent engineering simulations tools to support the Development and Engineering of the ballistic protection solutions. Knowledge of fiber reinforced composite materials is a prerequisite. Knowledge of armor solutions and (e.g. small caliber) threats is a plus.
You are pro-active, self-starting, relevant experience in Analysis Engineering in preferably Aerospace and have a good level of technical problem solving and you are a team player. You have worked before in a multidisciplinary environment and are familiar with Technology Development. You are willing to learn and are able to arrange things.
