At our Bristol Manufacturing sites, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
We are seeking a talented HR Business Partner to join our fantastic team on site - the successful candidate will provide a full and comprehensive HR service to a client group containing operations and functions, working within a close-nit HR Function.
Please note some travel may be required to attend meetings at our other Bristol Sites.
The HR Business Partner will:
⦁ Be an integral part of the functional leadership team by providing support, guidance and direction in matters associated to HR operations, best practice, employment law and HR strategy.
⦁ Take accountability for the delivery of HR activities relating to recruitment, training, employee relations, reward, performance management, disciplinary and absence management within the business area.
⦁ Provide coaching to increase individual HR expertise, including policy, procedures, legislation and systems.
⦁ Identify opportunities for HR efficiencies and effectiveness.
⦁ Work in a holistic manner supporting the business in its approach to the engagement, health and wellbeing of its employees.
⦁ Act as a champion and change agent ensuring practice is relevant, up to date and consistent.
⦁ Work in a communicative and consultative way as a key interface with trade union representatives.
⦁ Have a flexible and can do attitude.

Essential:
⦁ CIPD Level 3 Qualified
⦁ Broad HR generalist experience
⦁ Excellent understanding of UK employment law and associated best practice
⦁ Great communication skills
⦁ Ability to influence with strong negotiation skills
⦁ Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
⦁ Works in a results orientated way and used to deadlines
⦁ Ability to work as part of a team
⦁ Has experience of working within a unionised environment
Desirable:
⦁ Has experience of working in a global business
⦁ Degree Qualified
