EHS Specialist  -  Your Future Position?

 

As an EHS Specialist in our Fragrance & Beauty Division, you will be based in Huangpu Site, Guangzhou. You will be under the leadership of EHS Manager giving him/her support on the daily job and specifically on one or more EHS specializations. Promote the EHS culture across the organization.

  • Support Management and operations staff for internal/external regulatory compliance
  • Stay abreast with EHS regulations and actively applies knowledge to projects and daily tasks
  • Be responsible for site environment protection and sustainability programs, including waste management & minimization and waste gas/waste water pollution prevention, facilitating sustainability programs, government platforms maintain.
  • Lead the across function programs, CAPA tracking, chemical exposure programs, EHS engagement to promote site EHS culture.  
  • By leveraging F&B China EHS resources, work together with site EHS manager to promote and support site EHS deployment plan.
  • With authorities related to Environment, Health and Safety; reporting to EHS Manager any clue of authority concerns
  • Lead and support incident, injury and complaint investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented
  • Evaluate regulatory permitting requirements and submit permit applications to applicable agencies
  • Develop compliance training and documentation and conduct EHS trainings when required
  • Facilitate tool box meeting and deliver other EHS training as required
  • Participate on the development of EHS procedures/Policies, recommend changes when appropriate and tracking their implementation.
  • Organize and participate in regular site safety inspection with department/area owners; report findings and follow up their correction prevention.
  • Follow up all audits findings; and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of their corrective preventive actions
  • Help on organizing site EHS committee meetings and following up all actions agreed in the committee meeting
  • Help on risk assessment and provide tangible solutions to minimize risks
  • Other tasks assigned by EHS manager.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Degree in EHS field, safety engineering, environment;
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Fragrance/chemical or related industries in MNC
  • Appropriate country EHS qualification/certifications is preferred.
  • Communicative English, local Language essential
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Good communication, cross-function coordination, and problem-solving skills
