About this role
As a Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in complex, large-scale projects. Our projects involve production facilities for banknotes, coins, security documents, and passports, as well as complete intralogistics and automation systems. You will be responsible for the production software MES—a system that manages and monitors production processes in real time, acting as a bridge between enterprise resource planning (ERP) and shop floor control. You will oversee the planning, solution design, and implementation of the MES, including the go-live phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all MES project phases—from detailed engineering and manufacturing to shipping, installation, integration, commissioning, and final acceptance—ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Clarify orders with system component suppliers, defining functional, technical, and commercial scopes.
- Define work packages and prioritize tasks based on responsibilities, urgency, and project needs.
- Develop and manage implementation and commissioning concepts, including coordination of on-site teams.
- Present project outcomes to clients as well as internal leadership.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Proven experience managing production software projects, including customer requirement clarification, solution engineering, and go-live.
- 5+ years of experience in projects within the cash industry (cash centers, printworks, coin mints, automated intralogistics), including leadership of international teams.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken and French language skills are highly desirable.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
