We have a great opportunity for a Hydraulics Engineer, based in the Philippines as part of a workshare team, remotely assisting our UAE office.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform design projects including analysis, evaluation, calculations and drawings for projects that will be assigned in accordance with standards and GHD procedures.
- Apply technical engineering techniques and methods using international design standards such as UK, US, UAE Plumbing and Fire Protection Design Codes in support to Philippines, Middle East, and international projects within GHD
- Prepare design drawings mark ups, calculations, material quantity take off, reports, technical specifications, and other design related documents relevant to the design task.
- Design fire protection systems, including sprinklers, and suppression systems, considering the unique aspects of environmental and regulatory conditions.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum of +3 years’ design experience, experience in Middle East projects is preferable.
- Proficient in the application of international design standards such as USA, UK, and UAE.
- Proficient in the following plumbing and fire protection engineering designfundamentals: fire protection systems, drainage, potable water, rainwater and LPG systems.
- Experience and working knowledge in Fire protection Hydraulic software such as Elite Fire, or FHC Canute
- Basic level of AutoCAD and Revit MEP knowledge, including experience in BIM 360
This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City, or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base/location.
Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.
