KDB Developer
Tus principales responsabilidades a desarrollar:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled KDB+ Developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications and data pipelines using q/KDB+, with a strong focus on supporting trading and market data systems.
Requisitos mandatorios:
Design, develop, and maintain applications and components using q/KDB+.
· Optimize and manage time-series databases for high-frequency financial data.
· Collaborate with quants, traders, and data engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Build robust, scalable, and low-latency data pipelines to support real-time and historical analytics.
· Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
· Support and troubleshoot production issues related to KDB+ applications.
· Work in Agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Strong proficiency in q programming language and KDB+ platform.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience in development using KDB+.
· Solid understanding of time-series data, market data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters), or trading systems.
· Experience working with large datasets and optimizing queries for performance.
· Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
· Good understanding of software development best practices and version control (e.g., Git).
· Ability to work closely with both technical and business teams.
Nice to Have:
· Experience in finance or capital markets, especially in equities or fixed income.
· Knowledge of additional languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
