Job Overview

Performs repair and calibration of all products & assemblies to meet customer requirements in a timely manner. Assists with conducting failure investigations. Assists with testing and packing of circuit boards and sub-assemblies to maintain adequate stock levels.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Troubleshoots products, sub-assemblies and circuit boards to ensure timely, accurate and complete failure investigations of product returns leading to root cause and corrective/preventive action.
  • Generates appropriate service documentation and enters service orders through the ERP System
  • Identifies complex failures and recommends solutions; provides Failure Reports to QA/RA when required; notifies QA of defective parts and failure documentation for applicable reworks.
  • Repair and replacement of appropriate parts after thorough troubleshooting
  • Complete product training and certification programs prior to working on specific medical equipment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Technical school degree (AAS) or equivalent in electronics preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years troubleshooting experience to the component level.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must have the ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Must have the ability to use test equipment.
  • Must have good communication skills.

 

The pay for this role is a minimum of $36.00 and a maximum of $40.00 per hour.
