Job Title: Manufacturing Operative

Location: On-site, Getinge Derby 

We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join us working at onsite at our Derby Quadralene site, ensuring the safety and accurate execution of production activities in the gantry area. 

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Follow approved batch sheets and manufacturing instructions accurately and in the correct sequence.
• Use Quad Manager ERP to record production activities, material usage and batch progress.
• Charge pre-weighed raw materials into vats in line with batch requirements and safety procedures.
• Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure parameters such as time, temperature and mixing are within specification.
• Collect and send samples to Quality Control (QC) at required stages of the process.
• Identify and report any process deviations, equipment issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety (H&S) procedures, including the use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals.
• Maintain a clean and organised gantry area, including routine cleaning of equipment and workspaces.
• Support line changeovers and cleaning between batches as required.

Skills

• Previous warehouse experience essential
• Reach truck qualification and experience essential
• WMS & SAP experience essential

Personal qualities:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of weighing, mixing and blending operations.
• Ability to follow written instructions and batch documentation accurately.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to use ERP systems (Quad Manager training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Previous experience in chemical, manufacturing or process operations is desired.
• Familiarity with QC sampling procedures is desired.

• Based in an easy commute to our Derby site
