What you will be doing 

A .NET Software Developer specializing in APIs, integrations, and custom applications developed using .NET, Visual Studio and leveraging Microsoft's technology stack to build robust and scalable software solutions. Proficient in .NET, they excel in designing and developing APIs for seamless communication between disparate systems, as well as crafting integrations that streamline business processes. With a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on software design principles, they create custom applications tailored to meet specific business needs, utilizing Visual Studio to write clean, maintainable code. From requirements gathering to implementation and testing, this developer is involved in every stage of the software development lifecycle, delivering high-quality solutions that drive organizational success.

Design, develop, and maintain custom software applications, APIs, and integrations using .NET framework.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and define project scopes.

Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in C# and other relevant programming languages.

Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of software applications through rigorous testing and debugging.

Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality and interoperability.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Adhere to version control best practices using Visual Studio and GIT for code management and collaboration.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is based at our Burlington, ON head office and requires regular in-office presence. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to our Burlington location for in-person collaboration, meetings, and team activities. Applicants must reside in the Burlington region or within reasonable commuting distance to our head office. This ensures effective participation in our team-oriented culture and supports our commitment to employee engagement and collaboration.
