Tip Top Victoria is currently seeking applications for 2 Reliability Shift Fitters to join our Reliability team at our Dandenong site.

Working 4 on 4 off – rotating days and night shifts. (Two days, Two Nights, Four Off Shift Pattern)

 

You will be part of a busy team that provides round-the-clock support to ensure our product is delivered on time.  This varied role ensures high quality mechanical engineering services are provided to our plant and equipment as well as supporting production and site activities to optimise productivity and minimise downtime. You will also ensure that client relationships are maintained and service delivery is of the highest possible standard.

 

Roster: 4 on 4 off (rotating days and nights)

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on bakery equipment including ovens, conveyors, mixers, dividers, and packaging lines.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out precision fitting, turning, and fabrication tasks as required.
  • Support production teams with timely maintenance response to minimise downtime – display a sense of urgency when required
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and machine modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
  • MEX CMMS exposure
  • Ensure all work complies with site safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Trade qualified Fitter & Turner (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
  • Welding, fabrication, or machining experience a must
  • Strong safety mindset and team-oriented approach
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns and respond to breakdowns as needed
