Our Tip Top division is the leading brand of quality bread and bakery products, producing iconic brands like Tip Top, Abbott’s Bakery, Golden and Bürgen. Safety and quality are at the heart of everything we do.

 

Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a QA Manager at our Carrara site. This is a standalone position where you will take full ownership of all quality-related activities, working in close partnership with the production team to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement

 

Reporting to the Regional Quality & Compliance Manager, you’ll lead the site’s Quality Management System and embed a strong food safety culture.

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Own and manage all quality and food safety activities on site
  • Partner with production teams daily to achieve compliance and operational excellence
  • Maintain and improve QMS, HACCP and customer standards
  • Conduct internal audits, manage certifications and close out non-conformances
  • Lead investigations and implement corrective actions for food safety incidents
  • Deliver training and coaching on food safety and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and GMP compliance

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent
  • Strong experience in food manufacturing and quality systems
  • Knowledge of audit processes, HACCP, and QMS reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail
