Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a QA Manager at our Carrara site. This is a standalone position where you will take full ownership of all quality-related activities, working in close partnership with the production team to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
Reporting to the Regional Quality & Compliance Manager, you’ll lead the site’s Quality Management System and embed a strong food safety culture.
Purpose of the Role
- Own and manage all quality and food safety activities on site
- Partner with production teams daily to achieve compliance and operational excellence
- Maintain and improve QMS, HACCP and customer standards
- Conduct internal audits, manage certifications and close out non-conformances
- Lead investigations and implement corrective actions for food safety incidents
- Deliver training and coaching on food safety and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and GMP compliance
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent
- Strong experience in food manufacturing and quality systems
- Knowledge of audit processes, HACCP, and QMS reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail
