About this role

We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales execution and growth across the South Gold Coast territory. The Territory covers from Broadbeach in the North, to Tweed and Banora Point in the South. You’ll lead a team of merchandisers, ensuring excellence in-store, strong customer engagement, and a culture of safety and high performance.

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of merchandisers
  • Drive in-store execution and merchandising excellence
  • Build strong customer relationships and engagement with regional stores, local vendors and distributors
  • Champion safety and compliance across your area
  • Use data and insights to influence outcomes and drive performance

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a field sales/retail role, ideally in FMCG
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees including management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Commercial acumen and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
  • A passion for people, performance and continuous improvement
