SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Mix Batcher is responsible for mixing of mill ingredients and ration batches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Run multiple pieces of equipment used in the feed mill.
- Monitor ingredients inventory levels.
- Manufacture product to ensure specifications and HACCP requirements are met.
- Grease and lubricate machinery.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pound bags.
- Adjust machines as needed.
- Operate a forklift.
- Oversee computer automation and operate the computer.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication & division
- Experience in production related work
