• Able to propose to customer the right GF piping solution for the right application (chemical compatibility, pipe sizing, flow rate, pressure rating, jointing requirement) within the customer budget expectation.
• Liaise with specialize solutions team to provide engineering solutions to customer ie pipe stress analysis, bracketing and supports, buckling factors.
• Able to perform material selection, material take-offs & project costing upon receiving digital or printed drawing.
• Communicate with customer on the piping requirements and their expectation.
• Perform technical clarifications with customers including drawing review & fabrication feasibilities.
• Present to customer the piping proposal complete with engineering data, calculations & comparisons.
• Work closely with prefab team to execute commercial and CAD drawing proposal with strong value proposition to customers.
• Strong ability to analyse existing piping design strength and weaknesses, and the value proposition if converted to GF materials.
• Able to understand and apply the piping design knowledge based on major application GF is primarily active in :- HVAC/Cooling, ME, Marine, Data Centre. 
• To communicate with various internal departments (procurement, finance, warehouse, sales team etc.) to facilitate project related works.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings (plan layouts, P&ID, piping isometrics etc.).
• To perform design review/ consultation on customer enquiry.
• To ensure piping proposal meet local authority requirement and no issue with obtaining installation approvals, if applicable

Job Requirement

• Degree holder in mechanical/chemical or related engineering field. At least 1-2 years working experience in piping system, 3-5 years professional experience overall 
• Strong knowledge in fluid dynamic and its basic concepts (flow rate,pressure loss,friction loss,pipe stress)
• Prior knowledge in piping application is an advantage
• Able to read drawing & extract BQ from drawing
• Proficient in Naviswork, AutoCAD 2D/3D. Ability to model in Revit and Plant 3D would be an added advantage
• Willing to continuously learn and improve, and work as a team player
• Able to perform and complete task within tight schedule
• Organize and detail oriented
• Prior experience in HVAC/Cooling, Microelectronics, Water Treatment, Data Centre application would be an advantage
