The Project Coordinator supports the project management and execution team in gathering information, resources and equipment to implement upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with diverse project managers and key stakeholders handling internal and external customer communications, work orders, budgets, and coordinate meetings to ensure efficient project execution and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:     

  • Works effectively with Company personnel, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, tittle or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers and understands their needs, timelines, and expectations.
  • Coordinates the collection of all necessary front-end information to enable efficient production processes.
  • Organizes and leads project kick-off meetings, establishing clear project objectives and timelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication between customers and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Communicates updates and address concerns effectively to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and customer approvals.
  • Generates and manage delivery notes and packing lists, ensuring accurate and timely shipment of deliverables.
  • Monitors project progress and proactively address potential delays to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate the final stages of the project to ensure all deliverables have been met.
  • Maintain and improve project coordination processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all project activities are completed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Support new products and supporting collateral needed by the sales team.
  • Gather and analyze information to prepare reports on the progress of projects.
  • Support project teams comprised of diverse, cross-functional members, potentially including numerous outside vendors and spanning multiple geographic locations, includes leading project kick-off meetings as necessary.
  • Contribute to a high-performing, highly motivated, collaborative team environment of trust, empowerment, accountability, and recognition.
  • Manage projects that can range in scope from low complexity to significant growth breakthrough opportunities managed domestically.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency, facilitate problem-solving sessions and meetings to address obstacles, and hold team members accountable to program commitments.
  • Participate in Production meetings as required.
  • Committed to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and neighbors.  Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering preferred. Technical training or related experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, project management or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with planning and scheduling, and cost control. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Passing a company post-employment physical as well as controlled substance testing. and background and security checks, as required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in a controlled environment at a desk.
  • Ability to discern various colors (wires, electronic components, etc.).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.  Occasionally.
  • Bending, reaching, and standing as needed.
  • Must be able to talk and hear.
  • Sitting more than 2/3 of the time.
  • Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel over 2/3 of the time.
