The RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

Administer medications accurately and safely to residents according to physician orders

Perform medication passes in a timely and organized manner

Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and report any adverse reactions

Document medication administration and resident responses in the electronic medical record

Communicate with physicians, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary care team as needed

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and inventory of medications on the cart

Follow all state regulations, facility policies, and infection control protocols

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining professionalism

Assist with basic nursing assessments and report changes in resident condition

Support a positive team environment and collaborate with fellow nursing staff

Acts as an RN Supervisor if there are call offs
