Job Description

This position sits within Program Development Quality, supporting Quality Business Operations, Strategy, Tools, and Processes. The role spans a wide range of cross‑functional activities, contributing to the development, enhancement, and long‑term support of Quality‑related tools and processes. Success in this role requires strong programming capabilities, a systems mindset, and the ability to collaborate across diverse technical and operational teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Quality dashboards and Quality Systems, with a particular emphasis on Power BI.
  • Apply strong programming fundamentals to build tools that are scalable, durable, user‑friendly, and easy to maintain.
  • Work independently to architect tools and solutions from the ground up.
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities within existing processes.
  • Communicate effectively to understand problems, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners.
  • Demonstrate strong awareness of team needs to support accurate problem identification.
  • Document and explain complex software or automation solutions in a way that is accessible to non‑technical coworkers, ensuring tools are fully understood and utilized.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong or advanced proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and related applications.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions using Excel VBA, Python, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL, SharePoint Workflow, Slack, or similar technologies.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience writing macros or scripts.
  • Familiarity with basic quality tools, systems, and terminology.
  • Understanding of Vehicle, Propulsion, and/or Software Development Processes.
  • Background in structured problem‑solving methodologies such as RedX, DFSS, Six Sigma, etc.

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}. The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
