About this role

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Polygraph. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

 

Responsibilities for this Position

Linux Integration & Test Specialist at General Dynamics Mission Systems

What You’ll Experience:

  • Analysis of solution alternatives, recommend technical solutions that best meet the requirements.
  • Perform system integration, testing, and validation processes for new capabilities and regression use cases.
  • Ensure systems meet security specifications.
  • Responsible for the integration of system changes and new capabilities through the deployment to the production system.
  • Engage in research, data analysis, and choose the best standards and tools for system development.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proficiency in systems engineering concepts and tools.
  • Experience with requirements analysis and deployment preparation.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux OS (Red Hat 7 and 8; PitBull 7 and 8)
  • Ability to analyze and resolve system design issues.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and project management principles.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
  • Ability to convert requirements into thorough test documentation

A minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification is required at time of hire: e.g. CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security

 

 

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $89,505.00 - USD $96,847.00 /Yr.
