Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

You’ll create new and/or revise existing designs, drawings, and bills of material for our products. We’ll depend on you to lead or contribute as an individual technical contributor on a small design or test team. You’ll provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Specialist in the use of the strategic CAD and file management tools (Pro-E/Creo or Solid Works preferred)
- Accomplished at developing/integrating new ideas, optimizing alternatives, and establishing backup plans
- Competent in all aspects of respective design domain, mechanical design, part fabrication and assembly of electronics

What you'll do
- The Advanced CAD Specialist will develop and apply CAD software engineering methods to solve technical problems and create or revise designs and drawings. They will lead or contribute as a technical contributor on design or test teams, providing solutions to complex challenges.
