The Mission:

Join our International Programs Office and play a pivotal role in the AUKUS Program here at Electric Boat. This isn’t a typical desk job – it is a chance build the future of global defense, working on high stakes projects with international partners.

Your Impact:

You will be the central hub, providing crucial support for all aspects of our AUKUS program. In the Program Office you will gain a 360-degree view of how we operate learning from the best in Design and Engineering, Planning, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Construction and Facilities. Every day offers an opportunity to learn, pushing you to grow and apply your skills in a novel way.  You will move between tactical execution and strategic planning, defining the overarching vision for our programs beyond the ARTEMIS milestones. This is an opportunity to define the process, and not just be a part of it.

 

What You’ll be doing:

As a member of the AUKUS Program team you will:

  • Architect International Technical Exchange: Coordinate high-priority technical information packages for the UK and chair critical meetings between the US Navy, Royal Navy, and international stakeholders.
  • Be a Strategic Liaison: Direct the completion of program milestones and brief senior leadership and international partners on program status, staffing, and budgets.
  • Manage Global Mobility: Lead the coordination of domestic and international travel for EB Subject Matter Experts and manage high-level visits from foreign nationals to our facilities and vendors.
  • Navigate Complex Compliance: Ensure adherence to import/export regulations (ITAR) and program-specific policies, safeguarding the integrity of our international partnerships.
  • Be a Global Connector: You will frequently interface with US and foreign customers, building strong, credible relationships that are essential to our success.
  • Collaborate Across the Enterprise: Work closely with Engineering EB Legal, Security, Contracts, and Finance teams to drive program goals forward.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related Technical Degree (B.S. in Applied Mathematics, IT, Physics)
  • 5 - 14 years of Project Management / Program Office experience

Preferred:

  • 5+ years’ at Electric Boat as a Program Representative
  • Direct experience in Submarine operations or construction 
  • Backround in material procurement, vendor management or purchasing
  • Previous experience with import/export controls and international defense programs
