Electric Boat Corporation Department 425 is seeking an individual with Navy ship class, DoD systems, or similar complexity configuration management (CM) experience to serve as a software CM lead.
Department 425, Electrical Software and Cybersecurity, specifies, designs, develops, integrates, and tests software for US Navy Nuclear Submarines. The CM engineer uses system engineering principles to establish and maintain consistency of a product’s performance, as well as both its functional and physical attributes. This role will require effective collaboration with systems, software, hardware and test engineers for a variety of submarine platforms and electrical systems for the propulsion and electric plant as well as hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E). Knowledge of the software development lifecycle is required for this position.
