2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM ​Saturday Overtime based on business needs

Starting Wage:

Welder I - $21.25/hr + 13% shift premium

Welder II - $25.50/hr + 13% shift premium

Responsibilities:
Welder I
Comply with the company/site safety rules.
Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
Provide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.
Assist with robotic welder.
Additional duties as assigned.

Welder II
All Welder I responsibilities.
Intermediate MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding.
Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues efficiently.
Proficient in operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools.

Welder III
All Welder I & II responsibilities
Understanding of aluminum alloys, their properties, and how they react to different welding processes.
Proficient in various aluminum welding processes, such as TIG (GTAW).
Weld complex components with MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Operate robotic welder.

Requirements:
High school diploma or Certification.

Welder I
Internal written and physical weld test.
An understanding of welding fundamentals.
Basic welding experience and/or training.
Basic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment.
Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.

Welder II
1 year of experience in a production welding environment and successful completion of internal weld test.
Working towards apprenticeship or certification
Manufacturing experience, including knowledge of manufacturing processes or related experience.
Basic knowledge of Mig and Tig Welding Equipment.
Crane Certification.

Welder III
2 years of experience in a production welding environment and successful completion of internal weld test.
Experience in root cause problem-solving (5 Why, 8D, PDCA, etc.)

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
