Whether it’s identifying new key Web3 clients&nbsp; or servicing a retail customer’s needs, our goal is the same: deliver for our customers no matter what.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>The Role:</strong> <strong>Senior Associate, Due Diligence &amp; Special Projects</strong></span></p> <p>The Senior Associate, Due Diligence &amp; Special Projects will serve as the centralized point of contact for all institutional due diligence and request-for-proposal processes. This role is critical to supporting the Institutional business by delivering high-quality, accurate, and commercially competitive responses that help win and retain mandates.</p> <p>In addition to due diligence ownership, this role will contribute to cross-functional special projects spanning product, client services, and strategy, creating leverage and scalability for the Institutional team.</p> <p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">This role is required to be in person twice a week at our New York City, NY office.</span></em></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Due Diligence &amp; RFP Management <ul> <li>Own and manage responses to all DDQs, RFQs, RFPs, and related institutional due diligence requests particularly across custody, trading infrastructure, information security, and compliance.</li> <li>Proven ability to coordinate complex input across multiple functions and synthesize that into cohesive, client-facing materials.</li> <li>Translate complex technical, legal, and operational inputs into clear, compelling, and commercially competitive responses.</li> <li>Maintain and continuously improve a due diligence knowledge base to drive efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.</li> <li>Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to crypto, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NYDFS, SEC custody rules, and AML/KYC frameworks.</li> <li>Design and install a scalable, searchable DDQ/RFI knowledge base and tooling stack, such as Loopio, RFP360, or equivalent — with cross-team applicability across Gemini.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration <ul> <li>Build strong working relationships across teams to ensure timely, accurate, and aligned responses.</li> <li>Act as the centralized coordinator, partnering with cross-functional teams including Institutional, Trading, Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Security.</li> <li>Proactively identify gaps, risks, or areas for improvement in responses and processes.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Special Projects <ul> <li>Support ad hoc and longer-term special projects as capacity allows, with a focus on: <ul> <li>Product enablement</li> <li>Client services improvements</li> <li>Institutional strategy and process optimization</li> </ul> </li> <li>Help create leverage for the Institutional team through scalable processes, documentation, and tools.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in a relevant role (e.g., due diligence, institutional sales support, RFP/DDQ management, client solutions, strategy, or related functions).</li> <li>Strong understanding of institutional clients and complex, regulated environments (financial services, crypto, fintech, or adjacent industries preferred).</li> <li>Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and persuasively.</li> <li>Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.</li> <li>Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.</li> <li>Self-starter with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and high attention to detail.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting institutional sales or client-facing teams.</li> <li>Familiarity with compliance, legal, or security concepts in regulated financial products.</li> <li>Experience improving or scaling DDQ/RFP processes or systems.</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">It Pays to Work Here</strong></div> <div class="p-rich_text_section">&nbsp;</div> <div class="p-rich_text_section">The compensation &amp; benefits package for this role includes:</div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Competitive starting salary</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">A discretionary annual bonus</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Long-term incentive in the form of a new hire equity grant</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Comprehensive health plans</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">401K with company matching</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Paid Parental Leave</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Flexible time off</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong>: The base salary range for this role is between $112,000 - $155,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.</p> <p><em>In the United States, we offer a hybrid work approach at our hub offices, balancing the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.
