We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bakery Manager to oversee daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining inventory control, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a passion for the food industry to ensure smooth bakery operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily bakery operations, including food preparation, baking, and presentation standards
Manage staff training, development, and scheduling to ensure efficient shift coverage
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
Maintain quality control to uphold product consistency and freshness
Coordinate with vendors for ingredient procurement and manage delivery schedules
Assist in menu planning and product development to meet customer preferences
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue
Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive team environment

QualificationsSkills
Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or restaurant management within the food industry
Excellent leadership, team management, and staff training abilities
Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards
Experience in supervising fast-paced environments such as quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management
Culinary experience with a focus on bakery products is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives
Knowledge of food handling regulations, catering, or banquet experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
