The Bakery Clerk will provide quality customer service by producing all bakery goods and other related products in an efficient manner within store policies. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position is necessary to satisfy customers' needs and expectations.
Essential Functions:
Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Greets and waits on customers. Slices, packages, and prices products.
Performs other duties as assigned by the department head or other management personnel.
QualificationsEducation/Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Previous Baking experience preferred but not required.
Competencies:
Friendly
Good customer service skills
Good communication and listening skills.
Ability to follow directions.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
