Geisinger is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a well-established, collaborative breast imaging program in Pennsylvania. Practice Overview
Opportunity to practice 100% breast imaging, with flexibility for hybrid options based on interest
Four‑day workweek with no nights, weekends, holidays, or call
Hybrid onsite/remote model for diagnostic work
Supportive team environment within a large, physician‑led health system
Clinical Environment
Balanced mix of diagnostic interpretation and procedural breast imaging
Exposure to a full range of breast imaging procedures across modalities
Workflows structured to allow appropriate time per case, supporting accuracy, quality, and patient‑centered care
Diagnostic workloads designed to be manageable and sustainable, helping reduce burnout while maintaining high clinical standards
Physician Experience
Productivity expectations are transparent and attainable, aligned with a four‑day schedule
Emphasis on quality over volume and consistency over rapid throughput

GEISINGER WYOMING VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER (GWV), located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 274 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Luzerne County. The campus includes the Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, the Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital and Janet Weis Children's Hospital Pediatric Unit, a transplant program and the Brain & Spine Tumor Institute. Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre is GWV's ambulatory campus.
