Our dealership has plenty of work and is always busy! The Used Car Technician/Mechanic is important to our operation because it opens our clientele base to used car owners. If you are an experienced automotive technician, this is a position you should consider. The ideal candidate would have prior car technician experience as well and would have a reliable work history.
Used Car Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Keep the shop area neat and clean.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and by the dealership.

QualificationsUsed Car Technician/Mechanic Qualifications
1-3 years prior used car technician experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Personal Tools.
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

The Gee Automotive Companies began in 1983 when George Gee opened a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, Washington, which quickly became the largest in the state. In 1991, the company added GMC to its offerings, and in 2000, it relocated to new facilities in Liberty Lake, WA.

What you'll do
- The Used Car Technician/Mechanic is responsible for testing vehicles and components using diagnostic tools, as well as performing specified work efficiently. Keeping the shop area clean and communicating with the parts department are also key responsibilities.
