Here at Ron Tonkin Honda, business is booming and we need an additional Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our service department. We are building a new team to help with the increase in volume! Working as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, it would be your main responsibility to troubleshoot and repair any issues with our client’s vehicles. The ideal candidate would be someone with prior automotive technician experience and who is Honda Certified.
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive problems as they arise.
- Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts.
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team.

Qualifications
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications
- 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience.
- Honda Certified is preferred but not required.
- Driver’s License.
- Personal Tools.
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

What you'll do
- The main responsibility is to troubleshoot and repair issues with client vehicles. This includes diagnosing problems, conducting inspections, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
