We are actively hiring a Kia Technician/Mechanic to join our Service Department. Our prestigious dealership has been awarded various awards from the automotive industry and manufacturers alike! The Kia Technician/Mechanic plays an intricate role in our dealership by diagnosing and repairing our clientele’s vehicles quickly and in an efficient manner. Our service department has more than its share of billable hours! The ideal candidate would be an individual with prior automotive technician experience with a great work ethic.

Kia Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Installing parts recommended for repair and ensuring the repair is completed to satisfaction.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and to manufacturer/customer specifications.

QualificationsKia Technician/Mechanic Qualifications
3+ years prior automotive technician experience.
KIA experience is preferred, ASE Certification is mandatory.
Valid Driver’s License.
Personal Tools.
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

The Gee Automotive Companies began in 1983 when George Gee opened a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, Washington, which quickly became the largest in the state. In 1991, the company added GMC to its offerings, and in 2000, it relocated to new facilities in Liberty Lake, WA.
In 2003, Ryan Gee became President and CEO, building on his parents' legacy by expanding the company to include Buick, Porsche of Spokane, Kia in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, and Cadillac in Coeur d'Alene. Under Ryan's leadership, the company now operates 40 dealerships, including the recent additions of Honda World and Olympia Kia Subaru. Additionally, it manages a parts wholesale business, an automotive retail financing arm, an automotive wholesale operation, an off-site sale company, and two Allstate insurance agencies, employing over 2,500 team members focused on exceptional customer service across the Northwest.

What you'll do
- The Kia Technician/Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles efficiently. This includes test-driving vehicles, installing parts, and ensuring repairs meet specifications.
