We are actively pursuing Entry-Level Technicians to join our Service Team! Our Entry-Level Technicians play a significant role in our service department by performing routine maintenance on our clients’ vehicles as they come in. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for career development. Our seasoned management team has a great training program that gives you the requirements to help you become a Master Technician. The ideal candidate will be an open book and is willing to learn!
Express/Lube Technician Job Duties
- Greet service customers and assist with vehicle check-ins
- Perform basic vehicle inspections, noting concerns for service advisors
- Record customer information and service requests accurately in the dealership system
- Assist service advisors with scheduling, follow-ups, and communication with customers
- Support technicians with minor vehicle preparation tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status, basic service updates, and rental arrangements
- Learn and adhere to dealership service procedures, safety standards, and best practices
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday

Qualifications
Express/Lube Technician Qualifications
- Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning dealership software, service procedures, and rental systems
- Basic automotive knowledge or service experience is a plus
- Ability to assist with entry-level service tasks, including vehicle check-ins, inspections, and documentation
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

The Gee Automotive Companies began in 1983 when George Gee opened a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, Washington, which quickly became the largest in the state. In 1991, the company added GMC to its offerings, and in 2000, it relocated to new facilities in Liberty Lake, WA.

What you'll do
- The Express/Lube Technician greets service customers, assists with vehicle check-ins, and performs basic vehicle inspections. They also communicate with customers regarding vehicle status and support technicians with minor vehicle preparation tasks.
