GEA is looking for a Project Manager to lead the execution of industrial projects within the Nutrition Plant Engineering Division. This role is essential to ensuring successful project delivery in line with scope, timing, quality, and financial objectives, working closely with cross‑functional teams and following GEA’s strategic and operational standards.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Plan, organize, and control assigned projects from handover to final acceptance.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Lead customer communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with GEA processes, certifications (ISO9001, ISO14001), and ESG guidelines.
- Support procurement strategy and monitor supply chain actions.
- Handle scope variations, risk assessments, and project reporting.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Finance for international project arrangements.
- Promote continuous improvement and contribute to lessons learned.
Your Profile / Qualifications
For this role, proven experience with Primavera (P6) is fundamental to manage advanced scheduling, planning, and control of complex projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering preferred).
- PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
- 4+ years of project execution experience, ideally as Lead Engineer or Group Manager.
- Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, and ERP; MS Project is a plus.
- Strong understanding of project finance and contract management.
- Spanish (native) & English C1 (mandatory); French is an asset.
- Strategic, results‑oriented, detail‑driven, and sustainability‑minded.
- Experience managing multicultural teams; influential and trusted collaborator.
- Proactive, accountable, customer‑focused, methodical, adaptable, and process‑oriented.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
