About this role

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Report to HSE India Cluster Head to support the India HSE drives for whole India.
  • Ensure the GEA HSE Policy and GEA HSE Standards are followed at India site.
  • Ensure alignment of Indian sites with GEA’s global Sustainability & Safety Roadmap.
  • Support Sustainability drive of GEA on Energy management and water saving program & reporting
  • To Promote strong safety culture by regular meetings and trainings, Ensuring GEA Global training program.
  • To ensure compliance according to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & EnMs 50001 with relevant safety regulations.
  • To monitor Compliance of sites employees and Contractors with safety protocols.
  • Work with close co-ordination with site HSE/manager/Engineer for day-to-day activities.
  • Monitoring and keeping record (in SoFi tool) for finding unsafe act & unsafe conditions from all the project sites Having good skill of dealing with the incidents and reporting of the same.
  • Maintain accurate and updated HSE documentation including permits, inspection reports, and safety records.
  • Prepare regular HSE reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Use of HSE tool i.e. ENHESHA, Quentic, SoFi etc..
  • Promote GEA’s "Safety by Choice" culture across all sites.
  • Conversant with approval of High-Risk activities i.e. Height work procedure, Confined Space procedures, LOTO, Hot Work, lifting operation etc…
  • Conversant with all kinds of PPE’s, Workplace noise level and manual handling procedure.
  • Monitoring and maintaining records for Daily Site reports, weekly and Monthly reports from all the sites.
  • Conducting HSE audits, training mock drills at offices, workshops on regular frequency.
  • Review and approval of all MOS and JSA for different hazardous jobs which is to be executed at all sites.
  • Monitoring of regular inspection and health of Fire extinguishers and fire buckets being used at all project sites.
  • Conducting Site Audits for Material reconciliation, JMS and site Procured Items if any.
  • Preparing monthly MIS and reporting data in SoFi Tool.
  • Need to record all the compliance & HSE management related requirement of HSE in Quentic
  • Ensure compliance with Indian safety laws, Support regulatory audits (e.g., Fire NOC, Pollution Control Board) with F M Global requirement and If any HSE compliances…
  • Reporting incident / Near misses and participation during Incident investigation/analysis process.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering)
  • Advance Diploma in Occupational Health Safety, Environmental & Risk Management and above
  • Certification in Industrial safety from SBTET (State Board of technical Education & Training)
  • NEBOSH (IGC) added not compulsory
  • Other relevant certificates preferred. First Aid and CPR Certification will add value
