Roles and responsibilities:
- Lead the development of several product lines within the Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) Platform.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship for 1-2 cross-functional scrum teams.
- Lead team to deliver product features on-time with high quality.
- Collaborate with product to create release plans based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Throughout product release cycle, proactively identify and solve for risks and remove barriers.
- Establish Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices from requirements gathering to software design and implementation to deployment and support.
- Establish Agile best practices. Innovate and introduce new processes or technologies to improve team velocity.
- Set team member performance goals and career plan. Perform 1-1s and performance reviews.
- Motivate and energize team towards common business goals and vision. Promote a collaborative, accountable and trusting environment.
- Effectively collaborate and influence across various GE departments including Product, Services, and Sales.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Software Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

- Demonstrated knowledge in Python
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Experience with container technologies
- Knowledge in Typescript and Angular
- Demonstrated knowledge with CI/CD
- Experience with Agile methodologies

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Experience in leading software teams
- Bonus - Knowledge of power systems or background in electrical engineering

What you'll do
