Job Description Summary

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Key responsibilities include:

As the point person for a modality/team, you will be responsible for:

  • Inventory management
    • Supplier material Stream
    • Stocking levels
    • Transactional Process Support
  • Global allocation of material
  • Resource allocation
  • Lean manufacturing initiatives and support
  • Establishing and maintaining a teamwork environment with Sourcing
  • Positive supplier relationships
  • Indirect Material  Supply
  • Expense materials Supply
  • Budget  Expense account 
  • Projects  VCP
  • Drive  action to improve Inventory reduction

Quality Specific Goals:

Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • +4 years supply chain
  • Experience in people management and team development is a key requirement
  • Proven ability to drive change initiatives in a matrix environment
  • Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change
  • Kinaxis Maestro and / or Oracle Knowledge
  • Medical Industry experience
  • Proficient English level is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Black Belt Oracle knowledge and experience Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience OMLP
  • Graduate Lean Manufacturing AWO
  • Leadership Experience
  • MBA or Masters Degree
