As System Engineer - Catalyst Engine Dynamics and Loads Integration you will provide systems guidance to the definition and release of engine load sets, as well subsequent stress and life analyses at Engine and Module level (with particular focus on Engine Dynamics, Imbalance, Maneuvers, Propeller Loads and related engine analyses). You will be the primary System focal for the Mechanical Analysis & Life Management (MALM) and Dynamics teams.

Job Description

Essential Responsabilities

  • Manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, leads short/medium term activities and be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall product strategy

  • Maintain and adapt engine loads analyses and engine structures analyses to align with the engine program schedule, resource schedules, and other program constraints

  • Collaborate with Chief Engineering Office and cognizant CTHs on setting optimized analysis and review scope and process

  • Establish and manage single source of truth and consistent set of loads across the engine, ensuring flow down of Systems requirements and ensuring the modifications are captured appropriately and making sure that any new engine load set release is captured appropriately by sub-system and other disciplines

  • Contribute to establish a Lean Culture within the Team introducing a Customer-focused standardized Op Rhythm through an integrated plan LOB and operational KPIs for structures analyses work packages

  • Develop, review and verify quality of engineering documents

  • Collaborate with requirements leader to develop and flow relevant requirements that result in meeting all product-level and certification requirements

  • Provide technical and program leadership to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization and guide challenging decisions

  • Support other engineering functions, particularly engine Systems, the Certification Office, Sourcing, Quality, and Manufacturing Programs

  • Supports customers, be the primary engine technical focal for maneuver and propeller loads integration

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field or High School Diploma with relevant experience

  • Previous engineering experience related to Engine Dynamics or Engine Loads or Structures Analyses or other Engine System disciplines

  • Fluent in English language

  • Able to negotiate requirements with customer, partners and suppliers

  • Ability to lead teams in a matrix organization

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

  • Fluent in Italian language

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

  • Knowledge of engine sub systems, engine Dynamics, Engine Structures analyses

  • Knowledge on Modeling (type of analysis, tools, time estimation, B/Cs)

  • Knowledge of Certification & Testing
